This morning at 8 o'clock, Miss Dorothy Lee Pillars, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adrian Pillars, will be united in marriage to Mr. William Jesse Taylor of Wilson, N. C., the Rev. Van Winder Shields officiating.
The wedding will be at the bride's home in Springfield, and will be witnesses by the relatives and a few intimate friends of the contracting parties.
The bride was given away by her father. Miss Mary Dell White was the maid-of-honor and Mr. Robert McEachern was best man.
Miss Pillars is a charming young lady,. She graduated from Miss Jacobi's school this spring, and is quite a young bride-to-be.
Mr. Taylor is a leading business man of Wilson, N. C. , and is indeed to be congratulated on winning so lovely a bride.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple will leave for a short wedding trip, after which they will be at home to their friends at their home in Wilson, N.C.
