Most of my family feels we are direct descendants of george taylor. The signer of the declaration of Independence. I want proof. Anyone out there That may have have proof or documentation I would love to talk to you. My name is Susan M Taylor Schiferle ( schiferle being my married name.) My family goes like this : I am the oldest grand daughter of James, Clearfield county, My father was James, the oldest son Of James, born in Brockway ( Dubois PA ) in 1929, moved to Buffalo NY. James was the son of samuel, born in Clearfield county, Samuel was the son of Jacob, jacob was the son of Joshua and joshua was the son of Nathan. After Nathan things get a little thin. There are a great many trees out there that we are on, due to Nathans many children. If there is anyone out there than can help me with nathan and beyond, I would be most appreciative. Peggy Taylor ( whom I keep in touch with) is my Dad's first cousin. SHe is the oldest child of My grandfather james youngest brother. Thank you.
