Descendants of F.C. or C.F. Taxis, emigrated to Missouri
A German cousin sent me a newspaper article and photograph of a Friedrich Taxis (and wife). Per Taxis cousin: "He went to St. Louis USA in 1904 for the world exhibition and became an expert in building technology. He was one of the first who built up buildings with concrete in compination with iron. He built the Arcade building, one of the highest buildings in that time, the new court, the St.Louis Cathedral, the Me (??) Bridge, the missouri pacific building and the missouri theather." We think we know his genealogy back to the 1200s. If you are descended from this man, please contact me. Many thanks.
