my husband is descended from Jannet/Jennet Taus, a sister of Anna Taus. Their parents are David Taus/Taws (I have seen both spellings) born 1748 Scotland & Jeanette Youll. David served in the Rev war. They also had sons James & William & daus Elizabeth (who married Joseph Ennis) & Rosann (who married Jesse Platt). David died 12 Oct 1832: will written 15 Feb 1828 & probated 1 Jun 1840.

Sorry - I have no information on the Miller/Millar family.
Since David Taws/Taus was in Princetown, Schnectady in 1810, 1820 & supposedly died in Princetown in 1832 I would assume he was buried in that town but have not found any burial records for either him or his wife Jeanette Youll in that area. Will keep you in mind if I do find further info. Good luck with your research.
