WATERVILLE - Jacqueline Nancy Bourgoin Tardiff, 71, passed away very suddenly on April, 1, 2015, at Inland Hospital. Jackie was born on May 25, 1943, in Waterville, the daughter of Edmond and Albertine Berube Bourgoin. Jackie was educated in Waterville schools until the eighth grade, until she had to work to help support her large family. She worked at Sonny's Pizza in Fairfield, where she met the love of her life Jimmy Tardiff. They fell in love and married on May 2, 1964. Together they bought a house on Marie St. in Winslow where they raised their two daughters. Jackie went back to school and earned her G.E.D in 1976, she was so proud of herself for following her dream to graduate.Jackie stayed at home to raise her two small children until they went to school, she then began working at the Winslow High School for several years until they bought Western Ave. Market, which they ran together for more than 16 years. While at the market they made many lifelong friends and gave back to the community with fundraising for many charities. After they sold the market they enjoyed many years of retirement either traveling or spending good times with friends and family. Jimmy passed away on Dec. 4, 2013, Jackie moved into Seton Village where she met new friends, had family there and reconnected with friends she hadn't see for years. Jackie enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She loved her trips to casino with family and friends.Jackie is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Lynn Markowski and husband Gregg of Yarmouth, and Brenda Glidden and husband Kelton of Palermo; two granddaughters, Amy Gatie and husband Bryan of Smithfield, Danielle Wilde and husband John Michaud of Smithfield, two grandsons, Cody and Tyson Glidden of Palermo; four great-grandchildren, Mariah Laury, Madyson Beaulieu, Levi Michard and James Beaulieu, all of Smithfield. She also leaves behind her best fur friend, Peanut. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters; a special sister-in-law, Shirley Buzzell, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, and nephews; and so many friends to mention.Graveside service will be announced at a later date. At the family's request there will be no funeral or visitation hours.
