Does anyone know the Tanaka family crest? My relative Yasaburo Tanaka was born in Japan. His children are: Umekichi Tanaka born in 1873, Tatsuichi Tanaka born in 1880, Sasaichi Tanaka born in 1890, Tsuneichi Tanaka born in 1892, Tokumatsu Tanaka born in 1896, Katsu Tanaka, Sada Tanaka, and Sawa Tanaka.

Hi there! I came across this and I thought this is interesting. My great grandfather is also from the Tanaka family but truly I do not know if this is the same one you are talking about. You see I am from a small island in the Federated States of Micronesia and this great grand father I claimed was here during world war II. That is in the 1940's. He was one of the soldiers from Japan. He married my great grand mother and they had three daughters. One of their dauhters is my grandmother. During the time the Americans took over our small islands, all the Japanese are required to leave. So he left his wife and kids behind. That is all we knew about him. I am not even sure if his first name is Soichy or Saichy. I really do not know but I am very intrested in seeking to find out if he had any relatives still alive. And I will be very glad if any one can help me find out about this great grand father. Thanx and bye.

I don't have a picture of the Mon, but as a kid My Grandmother drew a picture of the Tanaka Mon from the Hiroshima prefecture, She came to the US around 1890 or so. It is the crossed arrows feathers on the left, arrow tip on the right. Not very common. Terry Tanaka
