My husband's father had a textile shop prior to the war in Binando, Manila. He was part Chinese and could read & write Chinese, English and Tagalog. He had two small children and was married to Felisa Tan. He was a civilian taken by the Japanese during the war and was never heard from again. Anyone who may have known his family or their family textile store, please let me know.

Thank You,
Monica

this post is interesting and it may have some sort of link to my sweet wife Myla Tan. Mylas father is Lope Tan and he has a sister Leola who is married to an American. myla said her father was a castaway on a vegitible boat from Macaou to Cebu back in the 50s. Their fathers name was Alejandro Tan. If you find something any thing really, any history at all, as my wifes family is rather tight lipped on the matter
My email address is todd_hilty@yahoo.com and pleae writhe Tan Family History
