We are trying to trace evidence of the marriage of Tamar, surname unknown, to James Hays, both from Tibshelf. We know our Tamar had a son James Hayes and remarried a Edward Joynes in 1873 and continued to live in the High Street, Tibshelf. Is it possible this is the Tamar Coupe mentioned in your message? We would appreciate any information you wish to share. Regards Alex & Lin Hayes. { now with an "e" }

Hi, I have just seen your message regarding the name Tamar. Tamar Coupe did marry James Hayes in 1871 and conceived a son (also named James) soon after the marriage. Sadly James died by the end of the same year aged 27 and the baby was born in 1872. Tamar re married in 1873 to Edward Joynes from North Witham, Lincolnshire. I expect you had this information, but thought I would share it just in case. I also have a copy of the marriage certificate for her marriage to Edward Joynes. Tamar and James Hayes are my Great Grandparents
Regards Alex Hayes
