Hi my name is Pila Lameta. I married Filitoga Lamet the son of Painuulasi Talamaivao. I am working on my daughter's family tree, and I am looking for any photos of her grandmother Painuulasi's parent. I believe they were Faavesi and Lafoaluga. If anyone have any photo of them please email mail them to me so I can complete my daughter's family tree.
Thank you.

Hi Saisului:
I really appreciated that, I didn't know who will have photos so I am so glad I found this site and you. We are now living in Los Angeles with Mafa. Sally lives in San Diego, only Ruta, Sonny and Henry in Samoa. I have not mention to Filitoga that I contacted you, I left this morning before he gets home from work. I know Pai has several brothers, and I only met Apineru. Is your father still alive?. I know you name after Aunty Saisului that is my daughter's middle name. It is so good to hear from my husband's relatives. I am really big in geneology, and I am stuck with Filitoga's family. If you have more information like Faavesi's parents and Lafoaluga's parent please let me know their names and where they from.
I can't wait to get those photos from you so I can finish my daughter's family tree. my email: pilalameta@sbcglobal.net
Good to hear from you. Keep in touch.
Love.
Pila Lameta.

Hi, please forgive me if my information is incorrect because I do not really know all the details of my ties to Fagaloa. My great grandmother, Malia, was the daughter of Chief Talamaivao Iulio of Fagaloa. I am related to Mr. Lutia and Mrs. Fuarosa Laupapa Timoteo of Pago Pago because of the Talamaivao connection. If anyone out there knows more about the Talamaivao family history, I'd be happy to hear from you. My email is alofatunoa@yahoo.com.
Thanks.

Talofa, Kia ora, Gidday from Sydney Australia. My name is Roberta (Talamaivao) Chang, I am the youngest of 4 children of Ausai Fonoti and Mironetta (Lee) Talamaivao. I am on Facebook :-)
Although the last post was 12 Jan 2010 almost 4yrs ago, (I hope it doesn't take another 4yrs for someone to come on here..lol) I googled "Talamaivao" out of interest, to learn a bit about my dad's family heritage.
My husband and I plan to move to Samoa for a 'one year' experience in 2015. Although my dad was born and raised in Lalumauga where my Grandfather Fa'avesi Talamaivao was a Church Minister, there is something about Fagaloa that God keeps placing on my heart for whatever reason, is unknown. My Dad says my Grandfather was from a village called Falimu? I guess that's a starting point?
A "Talamaivao Reunion" in Fagaloa would be ideal just to connect all the family dots, a celebration, commemoration and rememberance of our ancestors?
I have read all the posts to date, pray for unity, love and reconciliation that will bring us all together as one. For it is God we serve, but family we reunite. I hope to meet some of you one day.
In His Name, God Bless.
Roberta

talofa all,

my name is gina and i am trying to do a family tree for my partner Iosefo sefo..but his real birth name is Iaone Paulo... His father is a man named Paulo Talamaivoa, so im hoping that im am finally on the right track... Iosefo was born to a woman called Mele Afamasaga Sefo, and a man call Paulo Talamaivao way back in 1961... In Fasitootai, Samoa... Mele passed away when Iosefo was only 2yrs old, and we are not really sure what happened after that.... We know that Paulo left before Mele died and went on to work at some college in Samoa as the director of education... which we dont know when, but then left for America and resided there for some time... When sefos mum died, she was already married to another man and had a daughter Mele Sefo... Iosefo was then brought up by his grandmother Busi Sefo... We are just wanting to know if anyone knows of Iosefo story? and did Paulo ever mention having another son called Iaone? Any one who knows anything, i would so happy to hear back... My email address is earthnwind@hotmail.com...
