Greetings to All - I have been trying to find information on my grandfather Ulualofaiga Talamaivao Emelio. My father Onosa'i Ulualofaiga Emelio past away in 2007 and although I have many relatives that might know the information - for some reason not much is known about my grandfather. I was told he is half tongan and then i was told that he wasn't which confused me even more so I've decided to go at alone and this is what I have.

I know that he was born in Salimu Fagaloa but to make sure I have the correct information I am doing more research. I know that he was married before but later married my grandmother Tusipasi from the Tuaolo Family in PagoPago. My grandmother took his first name Emelio as a last name instead of Talamaivao and that he past away between the years of 1950 to 1960.

In 2010 his eldest daughter Maliana celbrated her 80th birthday in Vaiusu with all her 16 children and countless grandchildren. Grandpa had another daughter named Tapuni who may have been named after his mother.

Supposedly something happened to grandpa emelio's mom who may have been abused by an uncle and it was because of that incident is why she had refused to take her families name.

He was a very good fisherman and a very loving man who worked hard to take care of his family. He held the titles of Talamaivao and Lemusuitau at one time or another.

Please, I've tried countless times to get information but to no avail. If anyone has any information to help me I would be so grateful. My grandfathers picture is on the bottom. There are only 3 pictures and will look for the other two to add. Thank you and God Bless.

Talofa,

I am also a decedent of Talamaivao and I reside in Las Vegas, NV. It's a very large family from what I know there were 4 brothers and I think Emelio was the eldest and they were big playas if you know what I mean. The brothers had many wives/women who bore children. They loved their women. Unfortunately my dad inherited that gene lol. It's complicating when it comes to the Talamaivao family. It's a huge family.
