I just created this message board to help me learn more about my ancestors in Japan. My Great Grandmother was Fumi Takagi. My Great Great Grandmother was Kiyo Takagi. Fumi Takagi was probably born in the Late 1800's and her mother Kiyo (?maiden) Takagi (by marriage) was probably born in the mid 1800's. Fumi Takagi also had a younger brother (who's name I do not know yet).

Fumi Takagi married Tokujiro Misumi, they owned the T. Misumi General Curious store in Kobe, Japan. Fumi and Tokujiro had two sons, Hidejo Misumi & Shinichi Misumi.

Fumi Takagi had a cousin Teru Takagi. Teru Takagi had a son Takayuki Takagi.

I will post information on my side of the family here, so if you have any information about these Takagi's feel free to e-mail me, or reply to this message.
I still have contact with Takagi's in the U.S. and they talk to the Takagi's in Japan.
