Thomas Taggart b. 10 May 1728 Co. Antrim, Ireland came to Philadelphia, traveled to Northumberland PA, married Mary Vanderbilt and had 12 children. I find a lot of information about Thomas but nothing more about his brother Robert below.

Robert Taggart b. abt 1726- 1730 Co. Antrim, Ireland came to Philadelphia, traveled to Northumberland married Elizabeth ?, returned to Philadelphia and opened a store, brother of Thomas, one known daughter Elizabeth who married Samuel Israel. His will (see below) is about all I can find out about him. I need information about his wife and daughter both named Elizabeth.

Street Congregation]. To Exec. [In Trust] for erecting and founding a
Free School to be Called "Taggert's Free School" or an Academy to be
Called "Taggert's Academy". To the First Presbyterian Congregation in
High Street, The Second in Mulberry Street, and Fourth in Pine Street
[all in Phila] for School and Assistance to poor young men for the
Ministry. Exec: Wife Elizabeth, Rev. Dr. Ashbel Green, Charles Pettit,
Jaired Ingersoll, Robert Smith, George Latimer, Thomas Cuthbert,
Jonathan Bayard Smith, Samuel Israel [also Trustees].
