Dear Elena,
There were so many Taddeos in the Sant'angelo in Grotte area, and most of them were related...My grandfather's name was costantino....I am sorry that I don't have the remaining info with me aat present, but I will correspond with you during the week re: relatives that may be of help in your search.

Thank you, but unfortunately no. Just out of curiosity, what part of Italy was your family from and to where in the US did they immigrate? The only info I have is what I posted, so you never know, any little hint may open a door from me.

Thanks.

Elena

Thank you! I appreciate any help. I did hear about Sant'Angelo in Grotte and that many Taddeo's came from there. I did spend an hour or so looking at the films in SLC, but quality was poor and I had a different priority on that visit.
I appreciate any help.

Are you related to Bennie (1868-1898) and Marie (1866-?) Taddeo? I don't know Marie's maiden name. They immigrated originally to Massachusetts. I only know of two children, Giovanni and Angeline but there were probably more. After Bennie's death Marie married Dominick Abrunso and had at least four children with him. They were living in Syracuse by 1917.

My Grandfather was Nicholas Taddia, came from Campobasso, Italy and also arrived in 1912. He was born in 1894. But no more info, just checking every possible lead.

I am a Catenaccio and know something about the family, who came over from Rionero in Basilicata in the later nineteenth century.
