Hi,
My name is Lou (Louise) Neville. My Great Grandfather's name was Frank Zielinski. I'm having a hard time finding any info for him. I do have a date of birth and different spellings for his parents names. Can you give me the date of birth of your Frank Zielinski? Thanks

Hi Louise.
I found Franciszek (Frank in English) Zielinski birth certificate in Rom-cath. parish Strzygi (Poland that time under russian occupation). He was born in Strzygi, 30.11.1857, parents: Jan & Anna Piatkowska. Jan was a farm worker. I you give me your e-mail address I will sand to you a photo of the birth certificate.
Best regards

Thank you, but the Frank Zielinski I'm related to was born on Feb. 14, 1868. His parents were Catherine or Katarsmy Guelska and Teofila or Theo Zielinski. I'm looking for siblings of Frank.

Ok. Surname Zielinski is one of the most common in Poland.
Catherine = Katarzyna (in Polish). Name od father is Teofil.

In one place his name is listed as Teofila and in another it's listed as Theo. which I'm sure is short for something.

In Polish Teofil (shorthend) Teo it is a men first name, only. For women it is Teofila. In the most polish surnames it is similar for example Tadajewski for man, Tadajewska for women.
