Hello Gena
Thanks for the reply. My family actually live in the U.K.
I am one of six children, and the only male.
The name Tacy is very unusual here where as in America it seems to be more common. Obviously some of ancestors travelled.
Thanks once more for your information. My fathers name is Thomas Tacy, his father James Tacy who lived originally in Yorkshire.

Randolph B. Tacy (Tacey in census records in Virginia. Was born in France, educated in England as a doctor. First written record is in Fluvanna County, Va where he married a Paulina J. Glass on Aug. 31, 1826.They had ten children. Moved to Pocahontas County, now in W.Va and bought land. His daughter Poline had a son named George Norman Tacy which is my great grandfather and his son George Dallas Tacy was my grandfather who lived in Cass, W.Va. My father was Ollie J. Tacy of Cass. Which Tacy is your father and where did they reside as alot of our relatives are in Huttonsville, W.Va. area. We have been attending a Tacy reunion in Beverly, W.Va. for the past several years. Let me hear from you again.

Hello, I'm interested in the Reunion that occurs in Alpena, Michigan.

I am a direct descendant of Joseph Tessier b:14 Jan 1846 in Quebec, d:19 Jan 1925, Cheboygan, Michigan. He is the son of Antoine Tessier and Aurelie Darpentigny.

I live in Michigan and only about 3hrs away from Alpena and would love to attend in 2010, if it's still available.
