I am just starting a search of family histories and would be interested in anything you've gleaned. My husband had an uncle George. Jean Taake is still living here in Houston. Husband's father was Wallace B. Taake, married to Dorris Birchitt.

I have so little on the Taake family.
The Taake family that I'm related to has the
following tree and they lived in southern
Illinois:

Minnie Luecke married George Taake.
They had four daughters.
Ethel Taake married Guy Keller (6/20/12 - 1/14/88).
They had one son and one daughter and
they lived around Metropolis, Illinois
or Paducah, Kentucky.
Leola Taake married Alvin ______.
Mildred Taake (4/21/1902 - 9/2/1996) married
John Holhubner (7/22/1899 - 6/22/1994).
They had two sons and they lived around
Pulaski County Illinois.
Fred Holhubner and Elmer Holhubner.
Evelyn Taake married ______ Eichorst.

Do you have any other information regarding
this branch of the Taake family?

Kelly,

Thanks for the response, but I don't I'm following this line of the Taake family. I'm following a branch with George Taake from Florissant, MO. He had a close relative by the name of Nettie Taake. George Taake and his wife, the wife was a sister to my great-grandfather, moved to southern Illinois between 1900 and 1909 around the Anna and Ullin area.

Thank you
Kenn Luecke

Linda,

Thank you for the news. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending me this information. Ethel was my grandpa's cousin and both of my parents had fond memories of her.

Thank you
