I am looking for information on Henry Taaffe, son of Henry Edmond Taaffe of Woodfield, Co. Mayo. Herny's wife might have been Sopia Wilson. The oldest daughter is Letitia Eleanor Taaffe, b. 7 Jul 1859 DublinCo.Ireland. These may have been her brothers and sister, Sophia, George, and Harry. If any one has information on this family please contact me. Thanks Letitia Bluto

I'm from county mayo in Ireland and I'm doing research on our local church. It seems the church was funded in1860 from a very significant donation (5,000 pounds in 1860 !!!) by Philip Taaffe from Woodfield in Mayo and Glouster street in Dublin. This Philip Taaffe was the son of Henry E Taaffe of Dublin and Woodfield. He died on 14th January 1871. It seems the Taaffes were very significant landholders in county Mayo and County Roscommon.

I would welcome any information on Philip Taaffe or his relations/ relatives.
