Albert L. Szocki, age 62, of Erie, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 following an accident.
He was born in Erie on August 11, 1945, son of the late Joseph Brzezinski and Theresa Szocki. Al was a jitney driver at Zurn Industries; employed there for 36 years prior to retirement in 2007. He was a member of the Trinity, Foresters, Sharpshooters, PNA, Star and Monesko Clubs. He enjoyed all out of door activities, and also flea markets and garage sales. Al is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Szocki; six children, Diana, Denna, Steven (Mellisa) and Michael Szocki and Brian Allison (Michelle) and Rob Al Albert L. Preceded in death by a son, Allen Finnegan. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc. West, 536 West 10th Street on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Private interment will be held.
