ALBIN (LB) SYZDEK, 77, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2006.

Albin was born on December 14, 1928, in Bremond, Texas. He was employed as a butcher for 40 years, retiring from Rice Food Market in 1994. He greatly enjoyed life, family, friends, and cherished the times he spent with his 7 grandchildren.

Albin is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Helen; daughter Susan Suter and husband Paul; son Michael Syzdek and wife Nancy; daughter Sally Lewis and husband Mike; grandchildren Kevin, Gregory, Kelley, Caroline, Amy, Ryan, and Ashley. Also survived by mother-in-law Verna Markowski; brothers Leo, Fred, Richard, and Edmund Syzdek; sisters Margaret Syzdek, Bobbie Gentry, and Elizabeth Holcombe; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ike and Rosie Syzdek; brothers Floyd and Albert.

Visitation will be at Brookside Cypress Creek from 5:00p.m.-9:00p. m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Community, 6646 Addicks-Satsuma Rd. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
