George Symons was convicted at Barnstaple Quarter sessions (Devon) in 1839 and transported to NSW arriving April 1840.
It has been suggested he is the son of James Symons and Christian Ormiston born around 1825.
Can anyone help with evidence of this link?
I have evidence for the following children
Jane b 1823
James Alexander b 1826
Thomas b 1832
Henry b 1837
Jane Thomas and Henry show up in England census 1841 and on. Could James Alexander be 'George'? JA does not show up in 1841 census.
