I found your contact information on the internet. I am researching the George Lapp (b.1790) family for a friend/coworker of mine. While I haven’t found any additional information on George or his wife Catharine, I may have found information on another Catherine Silknitter which may be helpful to you.
Catharine RUPERT may have been the wife of Leuden SILKNITTER (b. 1828 Barree twp., Huntington co., PA) per the Last Will of Samuel RUPERT deceased of Huntingdon Co. Pa.Will Book 12 Page 226. Here is the information I found online:

I Samuel Rupert of the Township of Henderson, County of Huntingdon,
State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do
make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and
making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. And
first I direct all my Just Debts and funeral expenses be paid, by my
executors herein after named, as soon as conveniently may be after my
decease. Item) As to the residue and remainder of my estate; Real,
Personal, and Mixed, whatsoever, and where so ever. I order and direct
to be converted into money as soon after my decease, as in the opinion
of my executors, herein after named it shall be deemed expedient to do
so, and for the best interest of my estate, and for that purpose, I do
hereby authorize and empower my said Executors and survivors of them to
sell and dispose of my said real estate either by public or private sale
for the best prices can be obtained for the same and by proper deed or
deeds, conveyances and assurances in the law to be duly executed and
acknowledged and perfected to grant and convey the same to the purchase
or purchases, thereof no ____simple and to be disposed of within three
years after my decease. And when the whole of my said residuary estate
shall be converted into money as foresaid, then I will and direct the
same shall be divided into seven equal parts or shares between my sons,
John H. Rupert, David Rupert, George Rupert and my daughters, Arabella
Sechrist, Mollie McElwain, and Magie Dickison, and Catherine SILKNITTER
(deceased) share to be divided between her two children Harry SILKNITTER and Gertie SILKNITTER. Share and share alike, and should any of my said
heirs be dissatisfied with the disposition of my estate aforesaid, then
I direct such heir or heirs shall not receive any portion of my estate,
and any book accounts, notes, or other indebtedness I may have against
any of my said heirs, the same shall be taken out of their said heir or
heirs share, and I do hereby appoint my sons John H. Rupert and George
Rupert Executors of this my last Will and Testament, written on one half
sheet of legal cap paper, in witness where I Samuel Rupert the testator,
have this to my will set my hand and seal this Eighteenth day of January

the Probate of Wills and granting letters of Administration in and for
the County of Huntingdon, personally came George Ely one of the
subscribing witnesses to the above Will being duly sworn according to
the law did dispose and say that he was present and saw and heard Samuel
Rupert the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the
foregoing instrument of writing as and for his Testament and last Will,
and that at the time he was of perfect and sound mind, memory and
understanding, to the best of his knowledge, observation and belief.

deceased having frequently seen him write; that they have carefully
examined the signature of the said B.R. Foust attached to the paper
writing here to annexed purporting to be the last Will and Testament of
Samuel Rupert, late of Henderson Township, deceased, as a subscribing
witness thereto, and that they verily believe it to be the proper hand
writing and genuine signature of said B.R. Foust, deceased. Sworn and
