I am looking for information about my maternal grandfather and grandmother. They immigrated from Bohemia (probably lived within a 50 mile radius of Prague) in the early 1880's. They had three daughters Francesca (Fannie),Lucy, and Caroline. They originally lived in either Council Bluffs Iowa or Omaha Nebraska. John was a gardner/nurseryman. At one time probably worked for parks dept. in Omaha, perhaps Hanscom Park. Later moved to Columbus where he owned nursery which he later sold and moved to Schuyler where he also owned a nursery utill he died. His wife Katerin lived on Atlantic St. in Schuyler where she died. Fanny married John Frommer in Council Bluffs, IA in 1888. Lucy married a man named Coppell and homesteaded in Wyoming/Colorado. She and her husband died in a traffic accident.Katerin raised her children, Irene, Robert, William and Henry.Caroline married Joseph Russell. They lived in a house they bought from Fannie until they died.
