Hello Tania, this is an answer to your question. Serge was a crew member working on various ships. he seemed to be classed as a "stateless" person. So, I am not sure, but he seemed to work mostly on ships and I cant find any info., other than that. My mother thought he would eventually go back to sydney, australia but not sure if he would immigrate. Thank you .. best regards, sonia....
