Every Swineford I've encountered is descended from Albrecht, who was born in Germany in 1728, spent some time in Lancaster PA in the mid 1700s, moved to Middletown, Dauphin County, and finally pioneered in what is now Snyder County PA, founding what was long known as Swinefordstown.

I'm descended from Albrecht's granddaughter Elizabeth, born about 1789 and daughter of George Michael Swineford.

Would like to make contact with other Swineford descendents and compare notes.
