Hello, I am in search of information pertaining to my family. I have not had to opportunity to find any info on my sweetwine family. I know my family (sweetwine's) were slaves in Charleston, SC. This may give me a huge opportunity to determine if I am related to Abram. Can you provide me a copy of his memorial? Thanks.

Also i am searching for information on my great great grandmother Rose Sweetwine who married Adam Clark. Her mother name was Hannah who was also a slave. Thank you in advance.

In the papers of J. Bulow Campbell family, a copy of a Memorial of Abram Sweetwine" was located. I have a copy of this memorial if you are interested and will make a copy for anyone who requests it. Abram Sweetwine was born 1813 in South Caroline and died 9 January 1889 in Houston County, GA. He was born a slave, became a freedman, and was an ordained minister.
