Can anyone please help me? I am looking for my gggggrandfather. He was called Joseph Swatton. I think he was born in Wiltshire about 1798. He was married to Martha Lewington who was from Ramsbury in 1832. Their children were all born in Ogbourne St George. After finding his marriage I came to a standstill on his birth. Maybe I am being misled in thinking that he was born in Wiltshire, although 95% of my family do originate from there. I would appreciate any info. Thank you. Debbie.
