I am wondering if the Melinda Swanger that was married to Levi Hoover in Michigan could be my GGGrandmother. Did she have 2 daughters with Levi by the names of Nora & Ellen? Was she in Wyoming and then had a illigitimate daughter after Levi had already passed away? If so, then perhaps my GGrandmother Minnie Jessie Hoover was her daughter. Minnie was born in Wyoming to a Melinda? Hoover. I am not even sure if her mother's name was Melinda. My mother & GreatAunt have told me that as far as they know, that was her name. I am told that my GGrandmother never talked about her mother due to her shame.
