CHOKED TO DEATH
Perry: J. W. Swacker, one of the best known farmers of Noble County, living four miles north of town, met his death in a peculiar manner. Just before retiring he went to the kitchen and picked up a cracker and took a bite of it. A piece of the cracker caught in his windpipe and choked him to death before assistance could reach him. He was 65 years old and came to Oklahoma at the opening of the Strip.
