PARIS Township, Ohio - John A. Suzelis, 87, of 10170 Gilbert Road, died Monday, March 8, 1999, at home.

Born Feb. 1, 1912 in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of Stanley and Victoria (Gylis) Suzelis.
He had lived in the Paris Township area since 1924.

Mr. Suzelis retired from Rockwell International in 1974, where he worked for 20 years in the polish department. He also worked on his dairy farm.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Survivors include his wife, Anna W. (Yanusaitis), whom he married Aug. 27, 1938; sons, John F., Edward P. and Theodore C., all of Paris Township, Leonard J. of Lake Milton, Ohio and Florian P. of Mogadore, OH; daughters, Antoinette (Richard) Cottrell of Arnoldsburg, W.V., and Vivian McPeak of Lake Milton, Ohio; 26 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter of Kinsman, Ohio; and sisters, Josephine Gordon and Ann Lutz, both of Newton Falls, OH.

His brothers, Stanley and Charles; and sisters, Victoria Muzell and Mary Mailach, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at James Funeral Home, Newton Falls, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Services will continue at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Newton Falls, OH.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery

Funeral services will be held at the James Funeral Home at 8:30 a. m. and at St. Mary's Church at 9 a. m. Thursday, Aug. 3.
Family will receive friends Wednesday Evening 7-9 P.M. Burial in Newton Falls Cemetery.
