NEWSLETTER Hello Family: It looks like our Sutton Reunion for 2002 is well on it’s way! Plans have been made for the entire week of July 8th thru the 13th, so plan to spend the week or just for the Dinner, which will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2002 at 12:00 P.M. in the picnic area. Signs will be posted from the entrance to the location reading “SUTTON REUNION”.

Once again this year we will gather at the Gathright Dam at Beautiful Lake Moomaw in Virginia.
A map to the location will be sent as an attachment
to each of you, either through e-mail or as standard first class mail.

Also, Watoga State Park in Huntersville, Wva has been made aware of the Reunion so Cabin Rental for the Sutton Family will be of first concerns. An attachment for Watoga State Park is also with this mailing. Should they be filled up, a secondary lodging will be available through Seneca State Forest, attachment also with this mailing. In the unlikely event they also are filled check your local listings for Marlinton, Wva Motels. (For Map attachments, please click on URL Hyperlinks at the end of this newsletter. Maps will be mailed to those who receive this through standard mail.)

This will be a very exciting reunion! Please, plan to attend! This is one you WON’T want to miss!

There are NO fees or costs, just bring a covered dish for the dinner and lot’s of family history to record and share! There will even be Family Information Forms available to share your family tree for those of us who are doing Sutton Research.

We are looking forward to seeing you at this year’s reunion. We’re sure to have a great time with all our family members we know so well and ones who we’ve never had the chance to meet.

Hey, how are you doing? I'm from waynesboro and I go back there several times a year to visit relatives...great place:-) By any chance do you know a Glen Sutton who lives up in Verona? He's an uncle of mine!

FYI!!!! There is also a sutton cemetary in Verona and here are some of the names for you...I have a list at home of who exactly is buried there!

I stumbled upon this message, and had to reply. I have been working on my family tree which includes many Suttons. I have linked my Jeremiah Sutton b. 1836 to your Joshua B. 1837. Jeremiah would be my g-g-g-g-g- grandfather (i think). I too love in Virginia still, but do not get up to the Augusta Co area very often. I would love to know more about the info that you have. ANYTHING would be great!
