Freya, I would love to have a copy of your branch to see if it ties into mine. My great grandfather John J Summersgill came to America ca 1852. I know very little about his family in England.Three years ago I went to Linton, Yorkshire and spent the day. I loved it! We are planning a trip there next year and I plan to do some research while there. I'll be happy to share any thing I have.
