My wife's Suk family follows. Any corrections, additions or deletions will be graciously accepted and greatfully acknowledged.

1. Joseph SÃœK b. 07 Jan 1842, Kunkovic, Melhartic, Plzen, Czechoslovakia, (son of Adalbert SÃœK and Maria POJAR) m. 07 Feb 1870, in Jenewelt, Seewiesen, Pilzen, Czechoslovakia, Maria RUCKL (RUKL), b. 06
Sep 1842, Jenewelt, Seewiesen, Pilzen, Czechoslovakia, (daughter of Ignas RUCKL and Maria Theresa STIEGLER) d. Jenewelt, Seewiesen, Pilzen, Czechoslovakia. Joseph died 29 Oct 1909, Jenewelt, Seewiesen, Pilzen, Czechoslovakia. Joseph was born in Kunkovic which shows on map just north of
Seewiesen parish for Jenewelt. Kunkovic is in Melhartic parish(from UBC historical maps expert from 1856 detailed gazeteer of Germany and parishes. There is one place close named Velhartice on map which could very well be the so called Melhartic. Kunkovice is with the "e" also on map this period. Names changed many times in Czechoslovakia during this time period with different spellings.

Anna died 23 Feb 1973, Sioux City, Woodbury County, IA, buried: St Mary's Cemetery, Hawarden, IA.
Anna came to USA in 1899 at the age of 16 and, along with her brothers, took the name of Heider as the family surname..
She corresponded with her sister Maria (SÃœK) Ferschl who lived until 1960.
Anna was small in statue, about 5 foot 2, and she probably weighed about 92 pounds if she was soaking wet and had her work shoes on. After the death of her husband, she lived with her son Gregory Schumacher on his farm in Alcester (Bersford?) The last 15 years or so of her life, she lived with her
daughter Catherine (Schumacher) Rembe in Leeds, a suburb of Sioux City, Iowa. Although she enjoyed good physical health over her entire 89 years, her mental capacity was badly crippled by Alzheimer's
during the last 15 years or so.
