Jodi- My grandfather emigrated with his two half brothers, one being Joseph Suhajda, in 1907. They arrived in the U. S. at Baltimore, MD on April 1, 1907. The name of the vessel they sailed on was "Professor Woerman" (may be S.S. Weimar), North German Lloyd line. From Baltimore they made their way to Chicago where they had relatives. My grandfather ended up in Mason City Iowa where he settled and worked as a master carpenter at the brick and tile. The three sailed out of Bremen, Germany. They had resided in Racisdorf, Hungary before immigrating to the U.S. I would like to find out about their mother, Katherine Prostredni, who they left behind in the "old country".
