I have been trying to find out more about Henry STURGEON, II's wife, Jane. I have been told her name was DICKSON. Is this correct?
One son was Samuel D. (DICKSON ?) STURGEON, b. 1780, IN YORK CO., PA. -- p. 146
Jane (Dickson), b. 1745, d. 1822.
Questions:
Was Jane (DICKSON) also born in York County?
(I have not been able to find any Dickson family in York County, so far.) The Sturgeon book says, "In 1790 they moved to a farm twelve miles west of Pittsburgh." --p. 140.

Does anyone have any information as to Jane's correct last name and family?
