Just saw your pst, our family ahs a story of two brothers by the name of Stum as stow aways on a ship from Germany. My GGgrandfather was John Stum, 1818 of Berks and lancaster Co. , Pa. The names Alexander and Frances were mentioned, I cannot find John's parents.
