Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me track down an ancestor.....I'm looking for information about two of my 3rd-great grandparents -- John C. Strunk and his wife Catharine, of Reading, in Berks County Pennsylvania.

A little history:
One of my 2nd-great grandfathers is Henry C. Strunk, wife Laura Quimby.
Henry's parents were John C. Strunk, wife's name Catharine. From the census records that I've found, John and Catharine lived in Reading, PA. But, I've found no records of them older than 1850. Or, the available records are somewhat vague.

From one of the census records, John was born in Berks County in Pennsylvania, she was born in Schuylkill County, also in PA.

From the census records, he was born around 1806, she was born around 1814.

Not sure when they died, I believe it was around 1880, give or take a few years.
