I am searching for information regarding the mother of Gordon A. Strickland. His mother is found in the 1891 census with his brother William age 7 months and his grandmother, Isabela Amos age 60 in Galt, Ontario. His mother remarries, Joseph A. Malloy and is found in the 1901 census in Preston, Ontario. Gordon appears with them age 10. His mother has died by 1915 when Gordon marries in Victoria, B.C. He marries Dora Carmel Patrick, daughter of Joseph Patrick and Grace Nelson, 8 Sept. 1915. I believe he may have returned to Ontario. His grandmother, Isabella Cranston Amos dies in Victoria 24 June 1911. The family had not been in Victoria long before she dies. She is buried in Ross Bay in Victoria. I would like to find the burial site of Gordon and his mother and any information on his mother's father Walter Amos. Any information greatly appreciated.
