I descend from Elizabeth Straight Dragoo who was killed by Indians in the fall of 1786 Monongalia County, (now West) Virginia. "Betsy" had two brothers Peter Straight and Jacob Straight. Jacob was born before 1741.

Does anyone know who their parents were?

Elizabeth Straight married John Dragoo 1748-after 1822. She had eight children including an infant who died the same day as she did. I descend from their daughter Elizabeth Dragoo born 1773 who married James Hays.
