Nancy was a daughter of Sarah WELLS & Jacob STOVER.

Nancy married Dennis GADDIS on 28 Feb 1828 at Habersham County, GA.

A daughter of Nancy and Dennis, Rachael GADDIS married
Henry Washington WARD on the 24th of Dec 1847 at Lumpkin County, GA.

Henry and Rachael GADDIS-WARD are buried in Mt Airy Church Cemetery, Suches,Union County,GA.

A daughter, born about 1870, died before 1880 is buried very near them. Her name was also Rachael.

It was not uncommon for people to give two children the same name in those days.

War Between The States Service Record Information Regarding 2nd Sgt Henry W WARD:

Dora: I just wanted to re-iterate what you had posted.
