I'm interest in Capt L.H. Stone's Company, Arkansas Cavalry, which became Co. A, Clarkson's Battalion and later Co. E, Clark's 9th MO Infantry. Several men from this company, who were captured at Locust Grove, Cherokee Nation, gave their unit as the 13th Arkansas Cavalry. The company enlisted in Franklin Country, Arkansas.
