Stolze (Stoltze) and Fruendenberg of Lobtau, Saxony, Dresden, Germany to Racine, Wisconsin, USA

My grandparents are in possession of a Stolze family photo album. The album contains many photos of Stolze family members with no dates or names. Most of the pictures were taken in Dresden, Germany. I have attached the entire album to Johan Frederick Traugatt Stoltze on my family tree. I welcome all interested parties to come and see. The lineage that I am from is as follows

1. Johan Stolze and Wilhelmine Ackerman
2. Johan F. T. (went by Fred) Stoltze and Marie Fruendenberg - Came to America 1892
Their Children: Martha, Hugo, Otto, Gustave, Friedrich (Fritz), Anna, Frieda, William and Emma.
Attached is a family photo. I'm assuming it was taken around 1893 and the seated baby would be Frieda, who was born and died in 1893. Unfortunately not 100% sure.

3. Anna Augusta Stolze and Charles E. I. Kittel - Married in Marathon County, WI, USA
4. Mayme E. A. Kittel and Charles Schwede

Hoping to find anyone who is researching the family of Frederick Wilhelm Stolze and his wife Katrina Wagner (?). They were in Allegheny Co, PA in 1860 and 1870, according to the census. All the research I've done has been in USA. The Charles Stolze I have - mother's maiden name is Minnie Schellentrages. John Stolze is his stepfather. I don't have any information on his bio-father. They lived in Brooklyn NY.

my grandfather was Charles Stolze born in NYC in1873 and sent on an orphan train to Missouri. His parents were Karl and Elizabeth Stolze. I am looking for info on his family in Germany. They tried to contact him in 1806 thru the Childrens Aid Society.

I'm seeking for more information to Alma Stolze. She was born 1898 in Wausau, Marathon County, Wisconsin. Parents were August Woeller and Emilie Goede. I read somewhere that she married a Stolze.

Hi Johan ... I hope you are still checking back on this site because DO I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU! I am direct descendent of the Alexander Stolze you are looking for. I am just now searching out the family tree as I would like to have one on display for Grandma's (Dirkje) 100th Birthday. Yes, she's still alive and a party is being planned for this summer. Unfortunately Klaasje (Johanna or Jo for short) passed away a few years ago but both Dirkje and Alex are still alive today. Please contact me.

I am so amaized to find a mail from this board saying somebody finally replied to my message after several years. I had nearly forgotten I put it there. I am a stolze whose family comes from St. James, MN. My grandfather, George A. was born to Henry and Johanna (Henning) Stolze in 1904. They had five sons; Arthur, Edward, Elmer, Herbert, and George and a daughter Dorothy.

My grandfather's name was George A. Stolze, born 12/17/1904 MN. His father was Henry August Stolze who married Johanna Henning in 1893. They had 4 sons and a daughter. They lived in St. James, MN. I don't know if they may be related further back.

I just came across this info in the search section also. Unfortunately I cannot help you, but I am curious about the real names of the members of your family. I am trying to compile some origins and whereabouts of the Stolze family, which seems very extensive.
Could you please shed some light on what the G stands for in Arthur G Stolze and what the Living stands for in Living Stolze? I do not presume these are real names?

That 'living' means that they are alive I just had an inkling of. It is just that a family tree with:
grandfather: Living Stolze
father: Living Stolze
children: Living Stolze
Living Stolze
Living Stolze
does not look very interesting.
That the names should be unknown seems rather odd.

being from Brooklyn,NY with the name ERVING and assuming your talking about B'klyn.,N.Y.
there is NO Erving Avenue in Brooklyn
There is a Irving Place in Manhatten(New York City)

The G. in Arthur G. Stolze, in my family stands for George. My grandfather and father's name is George A (Arthur) Stolze. I hope this helps! There are many branches to this Stolze line, it seems! I believe that "Living" Stolze just means that this family member is alive but that their full name is unknown.

My Great Graandmother is Minnie Schellentrager. She lived in a two family house with her Son John and his family in Ridgewood section of Brooklyn.
I would love to write and try and help you. I am going to try and find the family Bible that I have from the Stolze family

I noticed you had a John Stolze who had a son named John Stolze, Jr., who had two son named Philip and George. Did he also have a daughter named Laura and a Stepson named Charles. This might be my Grandfather's family!! Would you be interested in comparing infomation? Please let me know.

My father Philip had two brothers,John and Harry. They were raised on Erving Ave. in Brooklyn. Philip married Anna Lehman and had three sons Philip, Anthony and William. John had two sons and one daughter. the sons were Philip and John. John and his sons and daughter lived on Erving ave. well into World War Two. Philip seems to be a common name family as we had five that I know of.Correction. Johns two sons were Philip and George who were raised on Erving Ave in Brooklyn. I don't know a whole lot about Schellentrager. My information gave this as my grandfather's mother's maiden name. Do you have any connection to Brooklyn or Ridgewood, NY? That was were my grandfather said he was born(1903). I tried to find her family, but keep coming up empty.

I don't think yours is mine. My grandfather married Anna McNulty. They only had one child my Father. The problem I have with my Grandfather is we knew him as Harry Mitchell. When he died, we found out he was Charles Stolze. We don't know why or when he changed his name.

I grew up in Glendale Queens and there was a Charles and Rose Stolze who lived in Freeport. They were my aunt and uncle. Charley was my fathers broyher. There was also Marty, Louie and Bobie. Tha last thing is that they had a daughter who left the nunnery to get married. If this is what you are looking for, then we are related. I am looking for information on my Grandfather, Charles Stolze. He listed his father as John Stolze and mother as Minnerva/Minnie Schellentrager. He told us he was born in the Ridgewood section of Brooklyn although I am not sure of the year. I believe it to be between 1898 to 1903. I am looking for ancestor information on:

Carl Richard Stolze, b. Feb 20, 1846 in Weimer Germany, d. June 5, 1922 in Pittsburg PA. We beleive his wife may have been Minnie Heina b. in Germany and d. in PA.

His son was Otto Stolze, b. Dec 15, 1879 in Weimer Germany, came to America at about age 2, married Alice Jones in PA and died in Michigan City IN.

His son was Charles Carey Stolze. b. March 31 1906 in Pittsburg PA and married Anolia Belle Cofer. Charles is my grandfather.
