Greetings, many years ago while I was a student nurse
in Newport, RI I worked for a gentleman by the name of
Willis Stewart. He had been the victim of several
strokes and needed help around the house including
basic nursing care which the agency I worked for
scheduled, etc. When he had to go into a nursing
home, my parents took care of his dog as his house was
sold, and were storing some of his personal effects at
their house. We were told that he had no immediate
family, but with Internet searching being what it is
these days, I have begun to try to find at least some
distant connections so I can pass these personal
effects on to someone. I came upon this board by searching
for keywords I found in the following old book
"History of Stewart and English Families." Published
in Grove City, Pa in 1908, it is "A history of the
Robert Stewart Family which came from Ireland in 1774
in the midst of the Revolution and settled in
Westmoreland County, Pa." Written by A.G. Stewart of
Grove City, Pa. If anyone can help me find the right branch of the family, I would be very appreciative...please email me privately at
djscomics@yahoo.com and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
Sincerely, Kevin Hall
