Hello Greg, I've tried to find any documentation to prove that Alexander Stewart's wife Elizabeth was a daughter of Archibald Barron and his wife Elizabeth. But other than the younger Elizabeth being buried near Archibald and the elder Elizabeth, I have not been able to find any confirmation. Unsourced family histories, SAR applications seem to be the only indication. There is no surviving Barron Bible for that period. Neither Archibald nor his wife had estate records. The Stewarts do not seem to have lived near the Barron couple per census records. Archibald did not deed any property to the Stewarts. Do you know of any official documentation for Elizabeth as their daughter? My own ancestor Rebecca Barron (died 1834), wife of Revolutionary War soldier John Forbes, Sr. (died 1829), is supposed to have been a daughter, also, but I only have a few records that suggest that she may have been.
