My mother was Lydia Susanna Stever,daughter of Frederick and Margaret (Fink) Stever born Sept. 9,1888 near Linwood, Ontario Canada. As far as we know, Frederick immigrated directly from Germany. Mother spoke German fluently. She was from alarge family with names like Solomon, Moses, Joshua,Lydia, Sophia, etc..If anyone hhas any information that might help trace Grandpa Stever's origins, I would be grateful
