I am currently searching for information on the stevers/stebar families of giles county Virginia. I have interviewed my G Aunt Mary Marie McClellan in great depth who was a Stebar/Stevers before marriage. I have lots of stories and pictures to share and would like to chat with any members of this family. I am not sure why the name changed from stebar to stevers. This branch of the family does go back to the Stever families of missouri.
