Hi,I am Chava Moskowitz my mother was Hanna Ramer nee Steuer, my mom, her whole life was always looking for blood relatives.

She connected with two first cousins, Anne Steuer from Essen and Max Tepper from Gelsenkirchen, Germany. We also connected with the Braunstein family David Braunstein was married to Elsche Fahn. They had 7 children. One of ther sons Julie Branstein was a soldier that found my mother in England during the war.

My mom grandparents were Bendet Fahn married to Debora Steuer. They had six children;

1.Nuchem (Fahn) Steuer married to Ruchel Schmemer; they had a daughter Anne and two sons Anne Labaton survived the war not her brotheres. She lived in Florida and passed away a few years ago

2. Sara(Fahn)married to Shlomo Tepper, they had one son Max Tepper that survived and two sisters that did not survive.

3.Leib Fahn Married to Klara(Goldstein); from my understanding they had three girls one was Dora and they were hidden by Gentiles. I know that my mom with her two first cousins went to see them after the war in NY and they did not want to connect to the family. The youngest of the three girls they convinced to come live with them in Passaic, NJ she did but then returned to her sisters.

Many years later my mom was in Beth Israel Hospital for blood tansfusions and sure enough Dora was a nurse in the hospital. They connected but she didnt want to discuss the past.

4.Jona & Rachel Fahn, we have no information on them( I was in Essen cemetary about 10 years ago, I think Jona passed a away young before the war, there was a monumnet in the cemetary with his name)

5.Libbe Fahn married Bernard Ramer, they had a one an onloy daughter named Hanna (Gertzulin) she was my mom she survived the war was sent to England as aq young child. She passed awat May 2000 in a car accident with her son Yaakov Ber named after my grandfather

6. Rifka, it seems that she was not maried my mother always said to us children when one of us have a child and can give a name she would love someone to remember her and name Rivka; so far it was not done.
