I would love to hear what you have. My tree has Johann Welhelm Steinmetz b. 12feb1813, Baden,Saxony, Germany-- d. 5jan1865, Columbus, Ohio. Married Fredericka Griden b. 2jul1814 Baden, Saxony, Germany, d. 4nov1894 Columbus, Ohio.
Had 8 known children:William(b.1835d1865), Augusta(b1839), Caroline(b1842), Charles(b.1844d.1886), Henry(b1845d.1866), Louis(b.1847 d1881), Eliza(b. 1848) & William (b. 11850-d1885).

I have about 9 generations, but not for all.
I have no other info on Augusta, Caroline & Eliza.

I know there were two sets of Steinmetz's in Columbus. I've heard they are related but have never found out where.

I know nothing past Johann and Fredericka.
