Hello to all the Steers out there. I just recently stumbled across this web site and was surprised to see such activity and interest in the Steer surname. I recently read where John Steer said he had some info regarding Steers in NJ and was wondering if it could provide any helpful leads.

I'm brand new to genelogy and just beginning to investigate my ancestry and have very little to go on. My dad, Leo F, is gone, as are his siblings. The only name I have to go on is my grandfather's (Randolph) who resided in the Rockaway-Hibernia area of Morris County, NJ around 1900-1939. He married Emma (spelling)Smith, approx 1910 +-. I know its not much to go on but any help would be appreciated.
