My great grandfather, Ernest Edward Watts (1900-1984) married a woman called Bertha Steer (born around 1900) in South London, Southwark or Lambeth I think. They had 4 children (Irene, Ernest, Frank, Barbara).
Bertha Steer had 11 brothers and sisters - I know one of them was called Daisy who married an ex military man and became Daisy King. They also had a daughter called Mary.
I know the names of 2 other brothers - Tom Steer who married a lady called Ivy and gave birth to Stanley Steer, and George Steer. I also know Tom, George and Ernest Watts worked in a bakers in Blackfriars.
I believe Daisy and Bertha both worked as cleaners somewhere near Cheapside.
Any information would be much appreciated - email
