STARSOLLA ; STARYSOLLER ; STARISSOLER ; STAROSOLER

Question:
The STARSOLLA'S (or any similar spellings) from TARNOPOL and ZBARAZ, POLAND =

Can anyone link-up Sussie STARISSOLER (1831-1876) or descendents with Schame STARASOLER (1770-1879) or his descendents?

I have two different trees. The one I can directly ascend to from myself is to SUSSIE (from Tarnopol) with only a few dozen people.

I have another tree with over a hundred people and members of their families in the Schame STARASOLER tree (from Zbaraz).

I am sure there are brothers and sons who link them up, but I can't find it!

Also in the Zbaraz tree, we have Samuel STARYSOLLER (1874-?) who married Chawe Alte CZYGLIK.,with many children they went to New York (c1911). The other is Samuel STAROSIOLLER (1859-?) with a wife Sarah Riwe CZIGLIK from Tarnopol who went to London.

Reply to : roystar20@yahoo.co.uk

Many thanks

Roy Star
Roy,

I think we may be related! I just sent you a note from my gmail account with a little bit more detail, but Clara Chyglik (Chasia Czyglik) and Herman Starr (Starysoler) are my Great Grand Parents. any information that you have about the extended family would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I've attached a couple of pictures to help confirm if we are indeed talking about the same people. The first is a certificate that my cousin received from the Ellis Island foundation showing the name of the Chyglik family that came over the the US with Clara (Herman supposedly came over first, then sent for the rest of the family). The second is a family portrait that was supposedly taken back in Poland circa 1917. The adults on the right side of the picture are Clara (top) and Herman (below Clara).

Again, any info you have would be great!!

Thanks,
Simon

I have William married to Rachel Downing also. I suspect the 3rd man in the picture could very well be William, but don't know for sure. My father knew Joe and was able to recognize him but William passed before dad was born so doubtful we will ever know.

Hi, David. I haven't done research since spring when we connected and you sent the lovely picture of Martin and Joe on the moon quarter. Today I began to wonder if that top fellow could be William. We have him married to Rachel Downing. Googling I came across your message here. I am Corinne Starr, posting from Lisa's account.

Does anyone have any info on Rosa? She married Walter Shrum 1867-1956. My grandmother said we are related to Belle Starr, however she didn't tell me how. There is one theory floating around that Rosa was Pearl's illegitimate child. Rosa's dad was James Carol Star. The line stops on my family tree with James. Marcia

On 4 November, 1837, Rebecca Star married Jesse Beals in Clinton County, Ohio. A Clinton County Historical Society transcription of the Newbury Martinsville Friends Cemetery shows a Rebecca Beals, wife of Jesse Beals, died 7-11-1853, aged 25 years and 11 months.

The death date sure doesn't point to this being the same Rebecca, given the year she was married.

Would like any input on this couple.......

Hi,
I am trying to find my gr gr gr gradnmother Morning Star/Starr's family tree. She was Saponi Blackfoot, so she may have been Cherokee/saponi mixed.
She was born in Ohio in 1825,6 or 7.
I know that in the 1820's families migrated from "Little Texas"/Occaneechi lands. And some migrated from from Sumter county and Virginia during that exodus to Ohio.
She ended up with a white family and lived in Holmes and Wayne county Ohio and married a Hiram Jones (and absolutly nothing is known about him.
Their children were called half breeds.
I would like to find her family tree. Probably from the Star/Starr families.
I hope someone may have recirds of thses families who came in Ohio in the 1820's.
I please hope to hear from someone.
Thank you.

I read your post. Looks we are maybe second cousins (?). John Calvin Lafayette Adams was my grandfather, and Aunt Venia was my mother's sister. I never met Grandpa but did live a year with my grandma (his wife). And I loved Aunt Venia! What a lady! I'm just beginning searching for the ancestors. Hope we can talk or share information now and then. Peggy McEachern (Smith-Bell). My mom was Minnie Lilliam Adams (McEachern-Carver).

Re: Will Star m. Powhattan (Tannie) Adams abt 1901

Well hell-o there, Tannie was the sister of my Great Grandfather, John Calvin Lafayette Adams (my grandmother was Jonnie Tapetly Adams-Francis) my mom Della Mae Francis - Long, me Judy Long - Pepperdine and I think I do

Here are some comments taken from a letter by my great aunt Vinnie (Levinia Adams-Francis) about Tannie:
Married to Will Star in 1901, had a twin Pocahontas, who was stillborn, Will was just a lofer in the community. She knew nothing of him, but wouldn't wait until she knew him better. Tannie was given part of the stock, she had her own brand so did Nancy and John, but John took care of all the Stock. John turned over Tannies part to her and Will. Will soon sold everything Tannie owned then started to sell Nancy's and that is when John intervened and Tannie and Will separated and were divorced. Tannie spoiled Minnie (aunt Vinnie's twiin), according to aunt Vinnie, shortly after 1902 she married Hiram Canada.
I do not have where she died but I will look for it. Please e-mail me any time at dollardoctor@hotmail.com, How are you related to Aunt Tannie? Later "Lil" Judy

Hello Judy: Thanks for the information on Tannie. I have been looking for info on her for some time. Here is what I have: your great grandfather John Calvin Lafayette Adams is brother to my great grandfather Francis Cicero Robert Adams. My grandfathers name is James Carlton (Nat) Adams, my father is Dwayne Franklin Adams of Watkinsville, Ga. I believe that would make John C L Adams my gguncle. I think. In turn that would my Tannie my third cousin. I think. If you have any other info on John CL Adams that would be great. If you use Ancestry.com, search for your great grandfather John and you can work your way back to me. Thanks so much for the info, again. Write soon, it was great to hear from. I know we are related from a distance but thats okay, family is family. I look forward to hearing from. Bye Judy. A million thanks. Valerie.
